As the end of the school year approaches, here's a look back at just a few of the amazing events during Quarter 4 highlighted on the official Lanier Twitter page!
End of an era! Mrs. Murphy's final March Book Madness resulted the top pick being Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys!

Gideon DeMarco won the Region 5 “If I Were the Mayor” essay contest!

Students joined Mayor David Meyer, Fairfax School Board and City Council members when June 2-10, 2018 was proclaimed "Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week"!

Simone Askew, a former Lanier student, was honored during a City of Fairfax meeting after she became the first African American woman to earn the role of First Captain, leader of the Corps of Cadets!

Lanier eco stewards teamed up with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for a weekend expedition to better understand human impact on our Watershed!



After placing first in the Northern Virginia Region KidWind Challenge, the LMS "Spinners" traveled to Chicago and placed second in the nation against 40 teams!
